The Club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in the Clubrooms on Tuesday 31 January 2017 at 7.30pm and you are invited to attend.
The AGM is an important event in the life of the Club as it is when the Officers and Management Committee are elected. In accordance with our Club Constitution, the Officers of the Club are Chairman, Vice Chairman, Administrative Secretary, Competitions Secretary, Treasurer, PRO and Junior Club Co-Ordinator.

In addition to these the Management Committee comprises one representative nominated by the Club’s coaches, at least one member (though preferably one of each gender) who will have a remit for child protection (Children’s Officers) and 4 others elected at the AGM, of whom at least one is a competing male athlete and one a competing female athlete.

As you can see from the list below there are additional officers posts to those defined in the Constitution, which have been filled over the years as the Club has grown and technology has developed, and which have been appointed by the Management Committee.

You are invited to submit nominations for any of these positions, with the provisos that you have

1. Spoken to the nominee and they have agreed to let their name be submitted

2. The nominee has a seconder and

3. That all nominations are made by 9 January 2017

In keeping with the rules governing an AGM there will not be an Any Other Business item on the Agenda.
Any issues which you wish to have included on the Agenda and any Motions for changes to the Club constitution with proposers and seconders names, must be notified the secretary in writing by 9 January 2017. Any items not considered appropriate for the AGM or received after 9 January will be referred to the incoming Management Committee for action.
