Departing EDAC Clubhouse at 7:15pm sharp:
21 January – 8 X 800m
28 January – Intervals – 6 minute effort, then 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 (recovery is half of effort)
4 February – 12 X 400m
6 February – Target Prep Race – Rollercoaster 5K
11 February – 5 X 1200m
18 February – Hill Training (12 X 45 second effort) – Roughal Park
25 February – 4 X 1 mile
3 March – 6 X 1km
10 March – 20 minute Tempo run
13 March – Target Race – Jimmy’s 10K
From Tuesday 5th January 2016 and every Tuesday from 7:30 pm to 8:30pm we will deliver a Circuit Training classes in the club rooms. The workouts are open to members and friends of members. Ashley Wade from Wade Training will be taking the class, entrance fee £5. Part of the charge will be allocated to buying new circuit training equipment for the club.
As a newbie to circuit training I can thoroughly recommend the classes, so can my glutes and abs. I would also like to say that Ashley delivers the classes for all fitness abilities.

There will be no Senior training on Thursday 24th or Thursday 31st December, instead there will be a training session for Seniors this Wednesday evening at the usual time of 7:15 pm, meeting at the Clubrooms. The session will be Km repeats at the Downshire.
Just a reminder for the 5K Time Trial taking place this coming Thursday evening. We will be departing the clubrooms at 7:15pm to meet at the Downshire.
We have prizes for the top 6 (those with actual time closest to their predicted time) and there will also be more than a dozen ‘spot prizes’ of East Down AC Beanies and mugs.
Results & prize giving will take place in the Clubrooms immediately afterwards and there will be tea & coffee & mince pies for all.
It would be great to have a really good turnout so please come along if you can.
